34 Weeks & Counting.....

Well hello to all who have found this site and actually chose to click and read.

Well it has been the best pregnancy...... so far anyway. I am now 34 weeks and have not had any issues except some cramping in the legs at night and a little stretched muscle in my tummy which pulled when I walked for about 2 months but that has now gone.

So far I have no stretch marks at all, strongly believe this is due to the use of Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula with Vitamin E, Collagen & Elastin - Concentrated Cream. I was concerned with the whole stretch mark thing as when I hit puberty and my hips expanded I got terrible stretch marks all over my bottom and hips..... nice! The last thing I wanted was stretch marks all over my tummy as well. As soon as I found out I was pregnant the first thing I did was take a trip to the Chemist to purchase some Elevit (Multi Vitamin) recommended for pregnancy and Stretch Mark prevention cream. I habitually rub my tummy, legs & inner thigh with this Cream Evey morning and night. So Far so Good! I will keep you all posted.

I can't believe how much I have enjoyed this pregnancy. I have heard so many horrible stories of swollen ankles, pelvic pain, lack of sleep due to cramping and not being able to get comfortable, vomiting all day, rashes and the list goes on. I have been blessed I think. I really do feel sorry for those women who experience these issues as I don't feel that they would really enjoy their pregnancy and appreciate just how much of a miracle this process is.... that you can create another human being... just really spins me out.

The only bad news that I have is that my baby is still in a breech position, with her long legs well and truly up and over her head..... not the best position to be in apparently as it is less likely she will be able to turn. I have booked in for acupuncture to see if they can turn her around as I have tried getting on hands and knees to let my belly hang so she has more room however no success as yet. I will let you all know how I go with the acupuncture thing as I really don't want a C Section. I would really like to be able to have a natural vaginal birth. I have looked at http://www.spinningbabies.com/ and they suggested getting into an inverted position where your legs are about 20cm higher than your head to try and give the baby more room to turn. However my little chicken wing arms are not strong enough to hold me up... so Acupuncture it is for now.

Well I think that is enough for now, I will let you all know how I go with the Acupuncture and Stretch Mark Cream.

Have a great day all.

Cheers

Mecil
